The Pensacola Off-Road
Cyclists organization was born in Mar ch 2000 and consists of recreational mountain bikers of
all ages and all riding skills.
The club's primary
objectives are to enhance the sport in the Pensacola area and to ensure
that existing trails are kept open for all mountain bikers.
 Other
objectives
are to organize local and out-of-town group rides, spearhead trail
maintenance projects, and assist to organize local mountain bike
competitions.
PORC is club
affiliate of the International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA)
which advocates proper trail etiquette as outlined in IMBA's
"Rules
of the Trail". We are also a supporting member of
the Florida Bicycle Association
and BikeMojo.
