later group ride on sunday?

i'm new to the area on 2 wheels... (just moved back but haven't been out to UWF before)

is anyone planning to be out there around 2pm.... i know there's the IMBA ride earlier but my schedule doesn't exactly work for that :(...

so anyone going to be around and willing to show a fat slow boy around? :) if not i'll find my own way... but always more fun with more people.

The UWF mtb club will be riding around 3:00 PM, but we'll be heading out from the UWF side. If you wanted to join us over there, you'd be welcome. PM me for meeting place details if interested.

Not sure if anyone else is riding at the normal time, or if everyone is just riding earlier due to the IMBA ride.

Got church at 6:30PM but i'm all game for going later than 9.

Alright i gotcha, no worries.
2pm is too late for me, it takes me about an hour and half to ride the 10 mi. loop, so i can't get back to FWB and be ready for church.

Noon would be best, but i can push it with 1.
It all really depends on how tired i want to be when i leave i mean i can bust ass and be there at 2 and be fine. But i'm good with falling asleep in church. hah.

We're no longer meeting at the water tower; the bike shop is the new meeting place. Location is building 209, court 3. If you are coming on to campus via the main drag, just continue past the water tower, go down the hill and around a long gradual curve. Turn in to the first parking (parking lot I, I think) lot to your right after you pass the UWF messageboard (not sure what else to call it) that is in the middle of the road.

Hey. I'm planning on being there for the 9am IMBA ride and staying as long as possible. If I can still petal I'll ride with you. I'll be driving an Explorer and riding a yellow Cannondale Super V500.

seems everyone was leaving as i was getting in... don't know if any of em where PORCers... so rode by myself... got turned around a few places... ran into wildbill while looping around and chatted for a second... ended up getting turned around so didn't do all of the trail... but had a good time... next time i'll go with someone who knows the area so i can get to know the route better :)...

side note... a rigid 29er does very well out there... if only it's owner was a bit less fat and a bit faster ;-)

anyone riding mid week durring the day? mind showing a slow guy the proper route? :)

if I can get my shoulder to heal I'll post and show you around sometime this week. not sure how many more days it will be though. if you have lights people ride tues, wed, and thursday nights around 5:30 .

my lights are 10 y/o... battery is gone and bulbs are burnt out... so no night rides till i find a job...

great trail system ya guys have though :) would be fun to ride at night...

the bike was fine it just screwed me up. a portion of the paint got rubbed off on wed night ride because i velcro'd the lights to it in a hurry. called Niner and they are sending me some out free of charge. thanks for the offer though dustin. :tup:
