I have a friend who is looking for a Hardtail size small $300 or less

older but had VERY little use, someone bought it and made it as upright and cushy as possible (big upright stem and huge springy seat) bought it on CL not knowing the size hopeing it would fit my wife (6')... it's the same model bike I had when I 1st got into riding so sentimental feelings got my better judgment... it even had the old stock dry rotted tires on it...

wife likes the seat so I tossed on a bell ergo seat and a more traditional mid 90's long stem (that I had off my old bike)...

it was built around a 63mm fork so you could put a 80mm on there and not slow it down to much (currently it's rigid)
