i've got a gf rig frame that i'm assembling. all is going well but i can't figure out how to secure the rear brake cable. there are cable stops welded to the frame but they seem to only work for hydraulic lines, not cables. there are several places that have the slot for tiewraps but the stops are like regular cable stops, just bigger or drilled out. i just use a full housing front to rear?

My Palomino is kind of like that, no actual cable stops, just places to attach the fully-housed cable. I ran the rear brake cable fully housed to the Avid BB7 brake, and it worked well, same cable for almost 3 years, still pretty smooth.
Without those cable stops, watch out for where all that extra housing might rub the paint, my top tube got scraped up pretty bad before I noticed it.

Yup. That's what I had to do with my cannondale F700SX. In fact Mark put it together for me.

brian at cyclesports sold me some barrel adjusters so i glued them on with jb weld. seems to work so far but i need to clean it up a little. what's weird is it's got posts for v-brakes so you would have to have cable stops or have a better way of securing a fully housed cable. tie wraps looked crappy.

I'll be your friend. Mine has full housing run with zip ties. on the two holders with out the zip tie places there are plastic holders placed on the cable housing to make the housing thick enough to fill in the gap.
ps is my bike really that purple?
