I just visited a relative in Pensacola, and we had a blast on your trails. Unfortunately, due to some bad directions, we did not get to complete a full lap. We started at the Univ. bird trail and finished at the trailhead. The guy I was visiting was out of shape and took the opportunity to road ride back to the car. I thought the trail was great and look forward to coming back. I think Cambodia was my favorite section, and the small teeter was a cool addition.
Also, one of the founders of my home trail and club NOMAMBO was recently in a skiing accident in Breckenridge. He is paralyzed from the chest down, and we are looking at having a bike festival with live music, raffles, time trials, ect. to raise money to help his family. We are looking at a date in July. If anyone is interested in coming to New Orleans (only three hour drive) or donating to the raffle, you can send me a message, and I will be more than happy to give updates. You can also check the forums at nomambo.net. Check under the News/Lounge, then under Our Pal Dan.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I will post before I come back and try to latch on to a group ride.
