Congratulations to SRAM (I mean Rock Shox) for producing a XC fork with 32mm stanchions that goes where you point it half a decade after Fox. Now you just need to learn what customer service is and you will get customers back.;)

my 32mm stanchion tora is pretty sweet... VERY heavy but sweet :)... (not that I wouldn't take a fox over it)

and by all accounts of late I hear rave reviews of sram's customer service these days :)

as for that fork... WOW... after you cut the steer tube it should be under 3lbs... my rigid fork isn't far from that thing.

Should have said race fork. Sorry. The Tora is a good fork, but SIDs have been notorious for being light and going whatever direction they feel since 1996. The 2008 and 2009 were not so bad, but the origional ones were a complete joke. It was almost like having two separate forks mounted and operating autonomously.

I rode Rock Shox forks faithfully and dealt with the heisman their customer support section gave. Having a Fox fork for the last four years has been a complete change. You can actually talk to a tech guy and he can sell you parts over the phone. Rock Shox will send you to your LBS to have them order a $3 washer. Also, try getting fork parts for something older than four years. They call it legacy and abandon all support and parts for it.
