I was 10 or 11 when I got my 1st one... paid 1/2... was a nice one had the auto reverse and all... amazing thing is they'd been around for over 10 years by then :)

heck I thought it was a big deal when the discman with ESP came out... still have one of those for my van that has a dead cd player (but the tape still works haha) even reads MP3 from a burnt CD :)

but yes my how times have changed.
