i'm heading up to blackwater on saturday to put in a small bridge, cut out a tree, and do some laps. i need someone to help me carry the bridge about 1/2 a mile into the woods.

That's quite a distance to carry a bridge. What sort of bridge are you installing?

it's a 2x12 with some bracing. it's 10' long and it probably weighs less than 50 lbs. i can carry it that far, i just don't want to.

david and i managed to get the bridge in without to much trouble. we also filled a couple of holes and did a small reroute instead of cutting the tree out. we managed to get in 4 laps and i will say that it was pretty fun. for only being 3 miles long, it's got a lot in it. i think that now it's worth the drive from pensacola to ride it (imho).
