we all love-em Trek demo days are here again. I was told they will be at UWF on the 11th of April. Bikes plus told me but you might call and check if ya want.

Yes it would help if I changed the calendar to April instead of leaving it at March wouldn't it?

I just confirmed with Bike Plus it's gonna be on Saturday the 12th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm by the UWF water tower. They have a list at the shop of all the bikes that will be there.

Looking at the calendar that's the same day as our Time Trials. Should we try and join it with the demo or change the date because of the folks who will be on the trail and possibly slowing every one up??

i'd be for moving the time trials... it would be fun still, but i personally might go slower thinking someone on a 29er just around the corner... my 2¢

Oh I'm so making myself available that day. I'd LOVE to try out a 29er before I build one up. We can still do the Time trials. I really do doubt there'd be anyone going up the Chute.. seriously. If it gets too crowded we can always just cancel it mid-trial but I don't think that'd happen.

In FACT we could encourage people to try to see how fast they could go on the trail which would make the "don't go up the chute" a bit easier to swallow for people if they wanted to try it. How often do you wish someone was around to verify a jump you were about to do or help you time something? It's a rare opportunity.

If we move the date, as it looks like we should, do we do it the next day (Sunday) or push it back to May 3rd? Fats is the next Saturday (the 19th), the skills clinic is the 26th and the next available Saturday would be the 3rd.

See how fast you can tear down the chute safely. We'll be timing people as well as controlling the flow to make it safe.
