need a road bike

as detailed elsewhere, a buddy had his road bike jacked from in front of his house. Im am looking for a road bike for a shorter guy, about 5 ft 6. he is looking to spend about 400 bucks. thanks

watch craigslist maybe the theif will try to sell it there. there's usually a road bike in that range once every 2 weeks or so. if he's not in a hurry there are deals to be had.
