I got a few things going on for my roadie world.

- Picked up a 1999 Litespeed Tuscany, 59cm & 18lbs from some guy named Randy that used it as his race bike. I have no idea what his last name is. Its got some nice mavic wheels, complete 10-sp campy record group, ec90 carbon fork, and a few other nice pieces. I'm going to have Vic over at the Milton Truly Spokin do a full on fitting next week when i get in from offshore. This is my first roadbike and I must say I'm not comfortable riding below the 'hoods' yet. Its going to take some time but I'm excited!

- My fixed gear wheels for the 1x1=11 will be ready when i get home next Wednesday. Surly disc'ed, fixed, and nutted hubs 32h laced on some 700c velocity rims. It should be a lot of fun or a total disaster:endo: This wheelset will start off as something to ride around university mall parking lot, (I live right behind there). Then I'll throw the 24's for urban rides or I may start putting my single speed 29er wheels on with some 700x38's that I have laying around. Them freaking 24's are heavy!

Overall, my roadie world set-up complete. A nice Ti bike for roadie rides and the 1x1=11 for the urban assault & for fixed gear training. Now I just have to get away from work long enough to ride.

When you go fixed gear on your Surly are you going to go brakeless?

All you need is a work bike!

No. I'll be keeping the disc brakes on the Surly. Those water tricycles are cool. I just don't think it would do well in the normal 5-15ft waves in the winter out here.
