Although cold, the time trials went on as planned. About 25 riders, of which 11 who rode the time trials, enjoyed a fish fry at the Pate trailhead.
The red loop was a little more challenging with the standing water and mud.
The cold air burning the lungs was also a factor in today's event.
A big thanks to Eric G for being the official time keeper, Chris for supplying the fish and cooking, Marty for the cooker and equipment, Sean for bringing the leftovers from the Epic, Steve R for the oil, and Mark for trail head maintenance.
The event also was a send off for Marty who will leave tomorrow for an overseas work trip.
We all wish him a safe journey and good fortune.
The results of the time trial were as follows:
Steve R 52.48
Jeff Powell 53.18
Mike E (Meco) 57.50
Robert ? 58.15
John Powell 59.21
Sean (Grumpy) 1:00.36
Jim (Redline 29) 1:02.10
Felix 1:07.05
Mike Hitchcock 1:11.08
Two riders missed a turn and did a shortened red loop
Bud Lawrence 53.32
Pedro 56.45
