Itching to go ride OM. Anyone else interested? I know several of the usuals have the IDIDARIDE this weekend so the possibility of the Jan 30/31 may be difficult for some...
At any rate, Im game for either the weekend of Jan 30/31 or Feb 13/14

You can crash at my place for the FATS trip. It is about 2.5 hours away, but you can hit other stuff around the ATL
what's more romantic than taking the little woman mountain biking?

I have to get everything prepped to move, then move and get everything unpacked before making any trips. I'd sure enough be game for a day trip any time that I'm home.

Eric, the other thing to consider about FATS is the March/April time frame is before the trees come out of their dormant state, and if you have any rain at all (common in the spring time), then they close the trails for several days. The last two trips we've taken there, we've gotten really lucky and been able to ride but both times were a little nerve wracking because there has been rain in the forecast. It might be better to push that trip back to May or so. Just something to consider.
Where's Oak Mountain again? Also, what kind of trails/terrain does it have?

Just south of Birmingham. Hard pack, amazing single track, bombing fireroads, heart pounding climbs. 17 miles of real mountain biking.

I may be in for om. And for the trips we need to pick some dates and have a back up plan or two.
