What is our inventory of PORC owned trail maintenance tools? I think Ed B had told me once that PORC owned a gas powered hedge trimmer, but that it proved to be a little heavy and cumbersome to use on the trails. If we still have one, I would like to try to use it to open Cambodia back up. Things are really growing in quickly out there.

Yeah, it is growing really fast. I went out late Sunday night and couldn't believe how much the new growth had encroached. I know that this isn't really at all related to PORC's tool stash... but I hope to do another TM day weekend after this one, and we should be able to knock out a lot of trail trimming close to campus when we do that. It goes pretty fast when you get three people with hedge trimmers. :)

I believe Josh still has those trimmers and they are the property of the UWF mtb club

It is a Toro 4 stroke with weedeater, blower, steel bladed trimmer/edger, and mini tiller you just swap out the end of the thing. I NEVER use it and you an have it as long as you would like. Let me know and I can bring it Sat or Sun.
I have found that a sharp machette or the Ditch Axe work best and you are welcome to those also if it would help.

I've also got a set of industrial loppers, some effective digging tools, and a swinging blade for weeds...all belong to the club if anyone needs em.

If it runs well would you be interested in selling said weedeater? I've been looking at the Ryobis for a bit but just been waiting on getting one. Let me know if you really REALLY don't use it and want to sell it.

I REALLY don't use it.
Lawn service is THE BEST money I've ever spent.....more time for riding!:D
That is if Dave doesn't need to borrow it.
