I had an unofficial time of 1:05:00 I'd like to throw in there. I started late and it was a self timed lap.

Dang Billy got a 41?! Friggin A you were burning up the track. Congrats to everyone for some really awesome times. A good turn-out as well.

Most excellent! Yeah, that is an insane time... 41:00 !?

That was definitely fun. I am proud of my 52:24 time. I've always considered myself an enthusiast biker and am glad to see that I can hang somewhere in the middle!

My correct name spelling for the record is: Galen Counselman ;)

I think we ought to do these every 3-4 months or so. It's a good measurement to see how you stack up and in the future will show how much you have improved between races.

I'm not that impressed. That's only 13.1 mph avg speed. :p That was a fun event. I think Mark would have gotten me had his water bottle not fallen off. It was still my fastest time, so I'm happy. We should do this a few times a year and change the course up every time.

We had 13 guys under 50 minutes and an average time for all riders around 52 minutes. That's damn fast. Congrats!

Winners in each class were:

Pro class (under fifty minutes- prize: gc to bike store and a PORC shirt)---- Billy Higdon
Sport class (fifty minutes to an hour- prize: PORC shirt)------------------- Mike Lang
Intermediate class (over an hour: prize: PORC shirt)----------------------- Josh Anderson

(Mike & Josh, come to the meeting or post when you plan to ride again so that I can get you your shirts)

Thanks to all for coming out and participating. Also a big thanks to Nate & Leslie for timing everyone, Dave for helping mark the course, Dustin for firing up the grill, and everyone else I'm forgetting who helped out. Some photo's will be posted on the image link in the next few days.

We plan to have a different event each month so continue to check out the calendar for dates and times. If you have some ideas for upcoming events join us Tuesday at our meeting or PM them to me.

Dang. I could have won a T-shirt had I done an official time. Oh well.

dang! keith beat me by 6 seconds.

Great event. We shall do it again. Good to see all the people who's been MIA, and good to see all Joe's altogether at the same place at the same time. I heard my name called like 20 times which wasn't me.

I was wondering if the winner and how many of the many of the participants were members. It would be nice to see a PORCer win all of the events put on by us. I dont think my hour times gonna contribute to the cause much though.

Oh yea and where was Carl?

Still wanna know how long it took me to lean over and get a beer out of the cooler. I thought i did it pretty fast. As official timekeeper, its conflict of intrest for me to time myself.

Yeah where the fudge was carl?

I think I remember him saying that he was going to be on vacation for a few weeks. That's why he couldn't make the FATS trip this weekend.

Found out when I got back to the car that my rear brake was dragging pretty bad. I doubt that would have made up the 26 min time difference, however...

I'll be at next weekends 2pm Sunday ride to grab the shirt
