Wow Paul ,
Excellent quotes in the paper. The whole article is really well written but you did us proud. I don't remember very many articles where they did'nt totally screw something up.

AND NOW FOR THE PICTURES
OMG
They have a small picture of a road race from the Pens. News Journel. It was from a race down town 4 or 5 years ago.

The mountain bike picture is from maybe oh 1993 Yes 1993:eek::eek:

i was going for that retro look on the photo. :) actually they didn't ask for one so i am assuming the just took one from our website.

unfortunately i can't read it at all. i don't even see the article on page four and it won't let me enlarge the page without having to sign up and pay. any chance you can save the article and post it as an attachment to this thread? the lady never returned by email so i didn't think it was gonna come out. glad to hear that it did.

come to think of it; when I joined PUMP (Pensacola urban mountain pedalers)the PRESIDENT of the club, Rick Cassidy, used those Scott bars. But thats not him.

The organization is currently working with Blackwater State Park to clear trails in North Santa Rosa County. With permission from the state of Florida, members have already cleared about four miles of trail, and plan on clearing at least another 15 miles in the next 12 months or so, Machado said.

Well Carl, at least everyone knows how much you are supposed to have done in the next 12 months. Get to crackin man.

Where it all begins!ahh...more like a 69er then:p. Funny neither of my kids had a big wheel when they were little...we tried the trike but not a big hit - they both started on 12" bikes with training wheels....the big wheel came years later though with the green machine.
