What do you do for a living and why? What would you rather be doing? Why aren’t you doing it?
I have been working as a hardware software tech for the sign and graphics industry for the last 8 years because I was in the right place at the right time to be trained for it. Dream job would be R & D for Santa Cruz bicycles so I can move back to California and get paid to ride bikes, and Santa Cruz is like Pensacola with mild climate and mountains..
Why and when did you start mountain biking?
What was your first mountain bike? I got my first Mtb while going to college in Northern California. It was a full rigid Trek 8000 back in 1993. Pretty cool I guess for back in the day. I sure wish I had the bike I have now for the trails I had available to me then.
What are your interests other than biking? I used to be an avid golfer and pretty good at it. Its been on the back burner for a few years now. I guess my life only has room for one obsession at a time.
What is something people should know about you? My summer job that paid for college allowed me to meet and cook for 4 Presidents. Carter, Reagan, Bush and Bush. Well Jr was governor of Texas at the time.

Would you rather drink one good beer or six cheap beers? What brand? 1 good Newcastle over 6 cheap ones, but 3 Coronas would do me fine.
What is the last book you read? Red Storm Rising , Tom Clancy. Just picked it up again to read it for a 3rd time.
Where are you going on your next vacation? Are you taking your bike? Tsali North Carolina for a week with my bike and my family.
What can PORC do for you? After thinking long and hard it would nice to see more events and such, but just having the avenue available to meet others with common interests via the forum has been nice. I have met a lot of great people since joining.
Did you sign up for PORC hoping to meet girls? We have female members?
Is your spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend sick of you constantly yammering on and on about bikes? We had a 30 minute argument about my bikoholism between question 4 and five. PORC PORC all you think about is bikes..
Why do you live in this area? My wife is from here.
What other activity would you pursue if biking wasn’t an option? I would go back to golf.
Who do you think has the best barbeque in the area?
I much prefer the North Carolina Vinegar cured pork if you can tell me where to find it here I would much appreciate it..
What trail do you hate at UWF? Why?
