PORC Photo contest.
It's time to pack those digital cameras or camera phones and win yourself some swag. We may have to work out a couple of unforeseen kinks along the way, but in general here's how it will work:
Create a photo albmum (http://porc.org/forum/album.php?do=addalbum) and have somewhere in the name ‘photo contest’
Upload photos into that new folder. Put as many as you want but before the voting takes place (we will announce this) designate which photo you would like to have considered for the contest in the photo comment box (you can also PM me).
In a few weeks, we will put each contestant up for a vote. There will be 1st & 2nd place with prizes; however, members will get slightly better prizes, as follows:
If a Member places:
1st – a PORC t-shirt and a box of Cliff Bars (totaling a $43 value)
2nd – a box of Cliff Bars ($15 value)
If non-member places:
1st – Non-member forum limits lifted for 1 year (same as the $10 forum supporter (http://porc.org/forum/payments.php))
2nd – Non-member forum limits lifted for 6 months (same as the $7.50 forum supporter)
Rules:
Photos must be mountain bike related
Contestants must have taken the photos (in other words, don't copy a photo from MTBR.com or somewhere else :) )
Preferred resolution is less than 2 to 5 megapixel, but higher resolutions are okay (may have time-out with uploading if file size is too large though)
Include the location of the photo (trail name/city) and appox. time it was taken (month/year is good enough)
