There's a Rose
In a fisted Glove
And the eagle flies with the dove
And if you can't be with the one you love
It's alright
Go ahead and love the one, love the one, love the one your with
Love the one, love the one, love the one your with
If your guy can't come to you
And you don't remember who your talking to
Your concentration slips away
Because your baby, she is so so far away
Chorus: And there's a rose in a fisted glove
And the eagle flies with the dove
And if you cant be with the one you love
Love the one your with
Don't be angry
Don't be sad
Don't sit cryin' for good times you had
There's a girl right next to you
And she's waiting for something to do
Chorus

Do it
Do it
Do it
Turn your heartache into joy
She's a girl and your a boy
Get together, make it tonight,
You ain't gonna need no more advice
Chorus
Just love the one your with

I thought by having a 29er you didn't need full suspension Dustin. Least I could have swore you told me that once.

Full suspension niners are great, but not here. You need to go somewhere to use it to its full potential.

Man that's pretty. Pricy too, I suppose that would be a nice ride. They might turn my head around if it was Ti. :DThe rear sus is one of the "no bob" versions.

Buy it then lets plan a PORC trip to Moab/Fruita/Durango so you can get the most out of it...although through the years I've heard that said about everything new in MTB - Before you get the new stuff, you never need it but once you have it then usually it's a must.

What about the Dos Niner from Niner? It looks good to me, only 1" travel in the back and the frame is a scant 4lbs

I sorta agree with "needing the new ideas". I have seen the mtn bikes evolve. Suspension, brakes, shifting, durability, etc. My 1st mtn bike was a 5 speed. It had non-indexed shifting. :(The chain and sprockets lasted great. Brakes were ok dry, non-players in the wet. Me, I like the performance of the full suspension. I got my 1st FS in 1994. A GT RTS. Man, what a difference. Braking was better, climbing was better, traction was better. I'm not going back. With the new technology comes the higher prices.

Check out my crush. In fact, I'm so in love that I ordered it today. Got a '08 Fox TALAS RLC to go with it too. Can't wait until Friday. I hope all the components get here before the weekend so that I can build it and ride it.

Got the TALAS for $540 new on ebay, so pretty good deal. Plus the adjustability feature on my Manitou Sherman broke right after I got it. Yeah, the brain is remote. They have to have it right next to the rear axle, so they just run a hydro line back there to the valving from the shock. They've done it that way on the higher end bikes for a few years now.

what you gonna do with the bike your riding now?

superdave
04-23-2008, 04:03 PM
I'm selling it. I think I may have it sold already. The guy is going to ride it with us this weekend make sure it fits.

If all goes well, I'm looking at about $1,600 out-of-pocket for the upgrade. Not bad for a bike that retails for $4,600. Plus, some of the components that I'm putting on the bike are better than the stock SJ Pro (Am Classic wheels, Formula brakes, TALAS fork, etc).

The last of the parts should be here Tuesday. Then it's just going to be install the new rear brake line, bleed the brakes and ride.

I'm glad the tax rebate went to good use here in PorcLand. Be sad to it go for shoes or food. I ordered some driveline pieces for mine.
