I know a bunch of you guys have road bikes. Knock the dust off of them and rekindle an old romance. Every Saturday morning from the trail head behind Truly Spokin in Milton there is a group road ride. The ride begins at 7:30am so you need to be there a bit earlier. The mileage has dropped to 40-45miles typically unless you want to try and go with the big boys like the Suburu team. Average speeds depend on who you roll with; 16, 18, 22, 197 mph, You always have to throw in somthing crazy.........16 HAHA.
There is usually a little added excitement in the last mile or two with a sprint finish. Somebody makes a break, some of the others try to catch/beat.
Good people out there. There's been about 50 riders the last couple of weekends.

you forgot to mention the WATERMELON which accepts donations or bring your own for post ride. Yummy with seal salt.

Crickets! Do I here crickets? Well at least there was one MTB'r out there today. Joe brought home the bacon. I got dropped, so I guess I'll have to fry it up in a pan.

I don't remember seeing anyone on a Trucker. Did he ride with the BWC group at 7:30am Saturday?

Yes Carl, you need to come ride in Blackwater. If you don't mind shoot me an e-mail so we can converse about the Fenner ride.
