Cool. Looked at some of the pics from last year and saw at least a couple PORC jerseys in the crowd.

aww man, now i'm bummed. i am slated to be out of town for this years edition.

at least there is some consolation knowing i am supposed to be riding from SF to San Diego from the 10th thru 17th.

That's on my planner. 102 or 64 is still up in the air for me though. 75 is my longest single ride so I need to get the century done. We'll see.

You'd have to grow up to fit it first!:fight:

ouch...
maybe just have to swap in some swept back beach cruiser bars so I wouldn't have to reach so far.

I'm 5'10" with a 32" inseam.
I'm guessing something in the neighborhood of 58cm would fit.
But, I haven't been on a road bike since 1990, so that's just a guess.

I wouldn't mind doing a road event, but don't want to buy a road bike just for one outing.
Who knows maybe doing that one event might make me want to get back on the road.

Getting down to a couple monthes now. Registration has already begun. Can we get a head count put together for who is going to represent PORC? It's a fully supported ride, stops with food and drinks a plenty.

Felix I will likely be covering the Milton store because Victor is running sag for this event. If so , I have a 54 that would love to see some miles.. At your height and inseam it will fit you.. 58 would be for someone like 6'2 6'3

Thanks, Eric. Wasn't sure on the size. Looked at a couple different sizing charts online, and one said 58, another said 54.

otrobert has offerred one up as well. He's a couple couple inches taller than me so his may/may not fit me. We'll see.
If that one doesn't work for me, I'll let ya know.

see if you can borrow a shorter stem and a straight seat post to get you close on a bigger frame. they should have something lying around the shop.

Picked it up yesterday and got the seat in the right spot.
Only problem now is that I feel a little too "layed out" when I've got my hands in the lower position. I'll put another ride on it and see if I can get used to that. If not, a shorter stem with a little bit of rise should fix it.

The bike rides great! Looking forward to putting some miles on it while I've got it.

FYI: As long as you're comfortable on the flat and hoods I wouldn't stress riding in the drops. Typically most of a ride is spent on top to the bars. Riding in the drops is usually reserved for hammering.

Any of you guys looking to get some road miles logged in preparation for the century ride, this Saturday we're doing a half century at Blackwater. We roll at 7:30am from the Heritage trail head behind Truly Spokin in Milton. It will be in 2 legs, 30 miles to the store stop and then 2o miles back. Come get a little saddle time in before the big ride in a few weeks.
