We road Red Rock this morning, and man was it hot. These little afternoon storms cause a mess on the trail. We had to constantly move dead branches and trees. One of the trees we couldn't move without a small chainsaw. It is at the 7.5 mile mark riding counter clockwise. We did get to catch plenty of those big Orb Spiders.

Seems like its either too hot or raining everyday. Tried to ride this evening; got washed out only got in short lap at games.

Yeah I hope it is just the heat because I planned on riding two laps, but after the first lap I was spent. It is either the heat or there is something wrong with me. I drank my whole three liter hydration pack, but I probably sweated out two packs worth.
I always thot that the Golden Silk spiders worked harder on the Red Rock trail. Every time I'm there I run into many webs. As to the sweating, I have switched to drinking sports drink instead of water. I sweat so much, I have been running out of salt. This makes me feel ill and I have a much higher than normal heartrate. Yesterday I rode one lap at UWF and drank 3 liters of Gatorade! I'm ready for fall and cooler temps.
if it's the same tree i'm thinking of then i was just going to go around it.

It may be the same tree. Going around it would be really easy.
