My dumb A** was being stupied. We had just stopped to shed some winter layers. When I started back ridding I relized that my helment was loose, because I had taken a hat off that was keeping my head warm. This is where the dumb part comes. With my right hand I reach back to adjust my helment. That leaves my left hand holding on. A cute little root going downhill on the trail, and a slight grab of the front disk brake. The rest is history. The good news, no damage to the bike. I just have some small cuts, nothing that required duct tape. My knees hurt like hell though.

The first four rides that I took on my Bianchi Sok 29er resulted in an endo on each trip.

I did that a few weeks ago taking a drink at the absolute wrong time. The first two rolls head-over-arse were in real time. The third was in slow motion as my wrapped up body and bike finally came to a stop; me on my back, the bike on top and my right foot still clipped. :fight:
I like that "real time" as vs oh s$$t time.

My 5 y.o. did an endo off a small bridge at Fontaine Bleu State Park Saturday. He landed flat on his chest. He raised his head quickly to see if anyone saw him, then jumped up and got his bike. He didn't know I saw him, probably for the best.

If you dont crash or draw blood in some way each ride, You are not pushing hard enough!! Or as Pops says, you have not properly sacrificed to the mountain bike gods!!
I doubt if it was your real first and I guarantee it will not be your last, Have fun

Yeah, I am sure it won't be my last. I am surprised I haven't had one already, but I haven't been riding a year yet. Lucky for me I wasn't going very fast, so only one flip. Not to much damage to me just a small cut, bruises, and a one large bursae to the thigh. When you flip 210 lbs it makes a hell of a thud.
