On the one where he hits the tree, I think the fatal flaw was in the landing IMO. I've been lucky on that jump not to have crashed, but i always come down front 1st - not bottom 1st.

his front tire is still way in the air after said landing. I've found it's harder to steer riding a wheelie, which may have resulted in the subsequent rendezvous with the tree a 1/2 second later. Just a layman's prospective though. :cool:

I dream of getting a Ducati every day. I want that bad-assed 1098. Then reality sets in. OMG, I have to drive in P'cola. Some of the worst drivers I've ever seen. Then I look at my 1/2 ton pick-up and think...I need a bigger truck. Maybe I'll go get a 1 ton pick-up. Price is not much different. I almost got nailed a few months ago leaving the Ducati shop! Talk about an omen.
