The picture accompanying that article is sickening. Its amazing that only one cyclist was killed by that guy.

I agree with all of you that have replied. I have not actually gone to the link above, but I was sent a picture today, and I am sure that it is the same. I was personally upset and angry at the person that sent it to me. I know that he meant no harm, but the fact that I spend my ENTIRE day in traffic, it made me a bit uneasy. It is fortunate that there was only one fatality. I hope that the driver is sentenced to the fullest that the law will allow. I am sorry if I sound a bit on the harsh side, but just this afternoon, I was almost taken out twice, by the same driver. Once, because he felt that I was not traveling very fast, and he had plenty of time to make his "3 point turn", which pushed me around him, into the opposite flow of traffic. And two, that he should run up close to me and blow his horn, then pass me very close. He was a bit upset, when I spoke to him in his parking spot. He mentioned that I should attend an anger management course. I informed him that if I didn't have people such as him putting my life at risk, I wouldn't be questioning his driving ability. I was having a great day until this happened.

He's in a huge metal cage and you're on a bike. I think he has less to worry about than you. Obviously you're a courteous person because you didn't mention keying his car. I'd say that's pretty generous.
