UWF Inaugural Run

Did a lap on wolf pelt today and then went across the street where I proceeded to bury my front tire in a soft spot coming off the drop in at Spooky just before the turn. I did an endo over the bar and performed a faceplant into the clay and messed my forearm up pretty bad from hitting a stump knocker next to some bamboo that put a 2" gash over my elbow.

So far the place kicks ass...

I'm good thanks. My helmet did it's job but my face absorbed most of the blast anyway. I've been watching the arm to see if it turns colors and been listening for clicks but it hasn't done anything and the swelling has gone down so I think I'm good.

I'm going to blow the dust off my elbow pads for my next attempt though. If I would have had those on I would have been able to continue the ride. I'm sort of kicking myself for not wearing them on my 1st visit to an unknown trail system post wipe-out.
