Ok I'm no "Cognitive Scientist" (whatever kinda made up stuff that is) but let's look at it this way. If someone takes my picture I still see the flash after it's over. Does that mean my brain is seeing the past? WOWY! Hell no.
The retina has this parallel overlap that causes photoreceptors NEXT to the ones stimulated to fire in a predictable manner based on movement and patterns. You can trick it ie. optical illusions, but you can't even claim it is intuition or telling the future. It's not in the visual processing its in the aquiring of the visual data where that/this happens.
This guys been watching too much Minority Report. I just hope he didn't get paid too much for that "science".:$:
