The last event for the 2011 PORC Olympics

There are two possible choices for this event both of which are time trials. We can either do a Games loop TT (which may need some maintenance), or a Red loop with Wolf Pelt. I am putting up a poll (that will close in one week) for everyone to vote. The event will happen on the 21st or 22nd of January 2012. That weekend has the least amount of conflict with other events.

I voted Red Loop w/Wolf Pelt for a time trial to close out 2011. For 2012 I wouldn't mind seeing the first event being a Games Loop time trial. Maybe 1 loop forwards and 1 loop backwards kinda deal.

Yeah that would work. There is a lot of room over there now. We will see how the vote turns out.

We could do it as a two stage event. Run the games first and your finish time determines when you start the main loop.

Its a time trial not a marathon, lets keep it managable to go balls out.. any longer than red loop (i think its safe now to assume wold pelt is part of the red loop) would take to long..

I agree with ego. games is the perfect length. You want something that is challenging to run it balls out, but it cant be too long. Short and fast is the way to go. Plus if you can figure out how to run one lap forward and another backwards without people running into each other that would be so cool

Not that it matters but change my vote to RED/WP cause Games is more like a freeway/Jeep trail in some sections. It is nice not to get caught on stuff in cakewalk though.:).

I am glad Red trail won out. Games side is hurt. If anybody sees the fellow who is whacking on the games trail, let him know, don't make it too good. lol
