I have an '02 Specialized Enduro size L that's taking up space in the garage. $500 is a little less than I want out of it, but I could let it go for $600. Here are the components:
Frame - '02 Specialized Enduro Expert 100/130 mm w/ itch switch & lockout
Fork - Manitou Sherman Flick 130mm
Brakes - Avid Juicy 5 (7" front rotor, 6" rear rotor)
Shifters - Shimano LX
Front deraileur - Shimano XT
Rear deraileur - Shimano XT
Cranks & BB - Race Face (I think they are the Evolve model) w/ bashguard
Wheels - Sun Singletrack Rims w/ XT hubs
Handlebar - Ritchey Comp Rizer
Tire - IRC Trailbear 2.3" tires
This bike isn't the lightest thing around (I would guess 32-33 lbs) but it is bulletproof and makes the trails seem paved. It has quite a few miles on it, but hasn't been used much in the past 3-4 years. The components have been upgraded over time, so many of the components are newer than '02. Frame has the usual nicks and scratches and a small dime sized dent that are purely cosmetic. PM me if you think he'd be interested. Here's the stock photo of the bike. I'll get actual photos to you if interested.

Dave, if you still have the bike and Eric's buddy isn't interested I may be.
I'm sure you know that the frame was recalled right?
