So is it kosher to ask the newbs to move to the right when somewhat quicker riders need to pass? I know these are relatively casual rides and I don't want to be rude. I'm not familiar with the unspoken PORC trail etiquette if there is one. Thanks fellas.

Today was a blast the weather couldn't have been better. Thanks to Melissa for dealiing with the bottles, Carl and Eric and anyothers who helped get the tent out of the woods. I came prepared to remove it but you beat me to it. Much appreciation. Some new folk out today and was a great ride. Good day!

Thanks fellas.if the line is intact, i won't ask...otherwise it is better for the slower rider to offer to let you by....if they don't you could ask or just wait for group to reassemble and get of ahead of them when the ride starts back.

Seems like the ride rules are not that much off of regular driving. Slower traffic keep right and faster people can pass on the left, when saftey permits. But this is pensacola and everyone drives in the lefthand lane with noreguard for the signs. People seem to take them as suggestions instead of rules of the road.

Sorry about my no-show. I ran into you guys out there but I had to get out there earlier as I forgot I had dinner plans I needed to be back for.

Anywho, it was great to see so many people out on the trails yesterday. I like the trail maintenance sign at the trail head as well! Great job and idea on that! Hopefully that will help bring in some help to keep the trails groomed.

I'll be out of commission for a couple weeks. Bikes Plus took my bike today to warranty my frame. If the next one cracks in the same spot, I see a BLUR in my future. Let me know Eric when a good time is to test drive.

All the 2009 bikes hit the net this weekend.. Goto Specialized website they have a FS Stumpjumper 29er.. you can get a frame only and use most everything off your old bike.. Colorado Cyclist is now out of those 07 Blur Frames so you are looking at $1800 for an 08.. Plus you would have to buy new fork and wheelset going back to a 26 er.. http://www.specialized.com/bc/SBCBkModel.jsp?spid=39193&eid=95
