2009 Fat Tire Challenge

Would it be possible for for y'all to set up a meeting with Saun Boren so a few of your guys and a few of our guys could speak with him about getting access from the university to the trail system for the Fat Tire Challenge? I'd like for it to be a University of West Florida Mountain Bike Club and PORC co-sponsored event with the dat set for March 2009.

It will at least be me and maybe one other. I can be somewhat flexible but normally between 10 & 12 or 2 & 4 is best. Just depends on what appmts I have set for that day.

Well, the term finally caught up with me in regards to school work, but I'm going to get on the Fat Tire planning ASAP when school starts again (jan 4th). Do those general times still work for you?

Sounds good. I will be in West Virginia from the 26th until the 3rd so that should be perfect.

Shaun is free most of this week. Let me know when you want to meet with him, and we can do this.

Talked to Shaun briefly this week about the fat tire, but didn't have a lot of specifics to give him. (date, expected number of people, etc.) I figure that I'll take a lot of notes at the meeting on Tuesday, and go over stuff with him before we try to orchestrate a meeting between a bunch of us.

Once we get some details firmed up, I can start tracking down the necessary people and talking to them, and also chase any permits/special permissions that we might need to obtain.
