No more General Motors, the gov't is almost going to have to bail them out.

Good, they need to close up shop for a couple weeks and break the unions and cut the fat. Best thing for them is to rebuild from the ground up.
Next thing is Ford, they have a line of credit for 2009, but how will they pay back the $10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 they will owe in 2010?
Me and few other guys are about to jump ship to Land Rover. I will have to go to Mobile but atleast they want be going under.

Good?
hah. if they file chapter 11 they won't be coming back, at least that's what's predicted.
You better go to land rover now then, or else they'll be millions of people from General Motors doing the same.
Can you imagine what that will do to the economy, if general motors goes under, we're not just talking one huge company. We're talking all the transmission companies, tires radio, it's never ending,All the way down to the fluid they put in the new cars. It won't kill all those companies but it'll cut their profits and jobs greatly.
For Ford, they won't, but our country will never pay it's debt back, either.
Amazing how the dipshits that got them into this mess will be the ones least affected:

They should have NEVER said ANYTHING about bailout. It's just going down the line. All these companies are "where's mine". Friggin hate it. CEOs of companies who's name you NEVER hear about making 200mil a year in bonuses save this year of course. It's ridiculous.
yea i just saw something this morning about how the execs still all ride in private jets...just the trip to washington to beg congress for the 25 billion cost $20,000 - that's just one trip in one morning....no wonder they have a cash flow problem!

Wonder if GM classic cars will go up or down in value when they g out of business

you would think that older ones would go up, as well as some of the newer models that are pristine. Just b/c there won't be anymore, but how does copy right work, i wonder if they still own that after bankruptcy, or else some of the other manufactures will probably duplicate their models.

Not too many American cars these days worth duplicating other than a few Trucks, and the Vette or Mustang..

yeah, well you never know.
I would like to see the GTO, and maybe the cobalt SS, that mofo hauls some ass.
Or the Dodge Srt 10 and the hemi motor, the charger needs to be.
It's endless. lol

haha.
To be honest i don't really know too much about GTO's.
To me i just like the way they look.
Nothing beats the mustang fox body fast back though.
The 2001 Ford F250 V8 Diesel got great reliability ratings in Consumer Reports. 140K and mine still tows a horse trailer great. I was very disappointed in my Chevy I had before that. Tranny problems right from the get go. I should have ditched it early on.
Did you see that the big 3 auto make reps flew to Washington on private jets to request bail out money? Unreal. At least they got called to the mat on it.

The auto makers flew on private jets b/c it's in their policy to fly on those for security purposes.
Not too sure what would've happen if they're broke that...
They were getting drilled too hard in my opinion, why shouldn't they just be handed it to like AIG? Double standards? Honestly if they let them go down we're all going to pay for it.
