Hi, I have a 4-bike rack for a 2" receiver hitch that I used on my suv. I'd like to trade it for a good quality trunk rack that I can use on my car since I don't drive the suv much any more.

The rack I have is similar to this one, but I don't remember the brand... I'll have to check.

If you're interested, let me know and we'll go from there.

Thanks!
Felix

IMHO, you would be better off getting a small hitch on the car and use the rack u got now. the trunk racks, evey the good ones just jack up the paint on your car.

yeah i can ditto nates input.
Mine's cheap but the weight on the straps just strips the paint.
And they're rubber coated so that's going to happen with any one of them.

You should be able to get a 1.5" car receiver and an adapter for 2" so it doesnt stick out like a sore thumb when you are not using it..

Here you go.. get one of these with a small receiver hitch for your car..

That sounds like good advice... thanks everyone!
I don't really want to trash the paint on the car, even though it's 10 years old.

For now, I think I'll just keep using the rack I have with the truck. Afterall, the only time I've diven the truck in the last few months was to haul the bike.
Cash is kind of tight right now, so I can't get a hitch put on the car right away.
