Maintenance done on Treehugger

My brother and I tried to help out with Treehugger today but we ran out of daylight. We just need to put some more dirt down on it.

Well done!

A couple of the other guys and myself are planning to head out Saturday to work on treehugger and pate, both of them are very bad.

Looks great! Some of these the trails have been around since the 90s or even earlier. Sadly there are a few that are just a 2 foot deep ditch. It really is time to do some reroutes.

Needs to be planned then. Major amount of work will be needed.

I'll come help out. Let me know what I can do.

Thanks Micha for stepping up to help out.

As of now, still planning on Saturday morning to work on treehugger. Weather will determine what can be done.

Grumpy and I looked at Treehugger tonight with the water running and we're able to divert some of it. I think we have a good idea how to slow the erosion down now.

You have this idea sketched out? I was wondering myself what we could do.

we can do a lot for drainage but that area is on a hardpan, meaning the water can't flow down so there will always be some weeping after a rain. The water on the trail today 1/24 Tuesday, is the weeping. I think the best we can do for that is add mulch to suck up the weeping and make the soil more firm.

Willing to lend a hand on trail maintenance. Just let me know.

Thanks to all the trail magic that has happened recently. I know the trails need some help and after riding last weekend, it's apparent that work is being done. Just wanted to say "Thank you!".

^^^ What he said. The trails are doing well.
