This reclaim, when finished, should offer a more varied terrain than the existing Games loop. A little more elevation change to make things more interesting.

3.5 hours on the reclaim. Another 150 yards. Between 1/8 and 1/4 mile to go.

Default After the Games reclaimation.....

Bump and Cahaba cycles are planning to finish the addition around the lake at OM on 3-6 and 3-7. They will be offering free admittance to the park fo rboth days, free camping in the field across from the South trailhead. They will also have lunch on both days, swag and even offering a Saturday night ride. Anybody up for going? With Steve's tremendous progress on the Games Loop, we should be done on the 20th and 21st, and going to help Bump with the expansion could be positive. Plus a chance at a night ride at OM is always a good think.http://www.bump.org/viewevent?eid=512

Is there going to be anything left for the TM? Sounds like your going to be done by this weekend. Thanks for all your hard work.

Not yet. It can't be much further though. Then it's the tunnel of hell.
Yes with my work schedule next week the reclaim should be complete.

As for the TM day, the singletrack hasn't been raked in yet, it's over a miles worth, and that will expose all those briar vines. The gas powered trimmers should work well with that. We might want to re-route the wet area to the west of the double track. If we get the work done on day 1 we can do a group ride on day 2 and pack in the new trail!!!

4 hours on the reclaim. Got through the big blow down area. Still have 3 trees to cut. I hacked through one with the axe, quite a workout. I'll probably use the chainsaw for the rest. I'm thinking of leaving a few perpendicular to the trail for a technical challenge.

Melanie and I went out today with the dogs and rough cut another 150' or so past where you stopped. We're almost to the turn to head back towards the big oak tree. About 1 hr each

great effort yall....w/all the primary work done, it looks like it will be mostly polishing this weekend - although with 2+ miles we will still have plenty of work to do.
