Steve, Are you going to be going out to work ? If so, when and where. I am off today and tomorrow for Mardi Gras, and want to get something done. If not, let me know what you need worked on.

4.25 hours on the reclaim. Ended up making the log crossings without the chainsaw. I got started early and the axe work warmed me up quickly. About 150 yards left. Saw Grumpy on my way out. He was walking in to get some TM done. A big thank you to Sean!! I'll be out tomorrow to finish the rest. Day off!

4 hours. After walking the long way around and doing a little here and a little there, I got to the last little section that needed to be roughed in. I went ahead and did that so that I wouln't have to walk all the way back around. Man, this should add a considerable amount of trail. Way to go Steve, you are getting a workout just walking back and forth every day. I tried messing with the web of dead limbs where you left off, but didn't make any progress (chainsaw would be the way to go). With what Steve has planned for the rest of the week, a good turn out this weekend will allow us to go through and polish everything up and be ready to ride. What are the plans, heard mention of a cookout?

Are we still planning some sort of Cookout, it's getting close and should probably plan ahead.

i ran & son rode what's done to the oak....awesome job...some spots I hardly recognized they were so clean. it is a significant addition--seemed longer than I remember it. maybe even more than 2 miles--guess we will find out after this weekend.

cookout has been talked about - - i need to be sure we have a grill.

food and drinks for sure...dustin mentioned bringing a grill but either way we will be eating and drinking afterward. i'll find out more from him.

Sean - have you had time to work on the orange arrows? there's a spot where we can use a couple if you have them.

It sounds good but to be honest after most TM's the majority of people are just ready to get out of there to do whatever they gotta do that day. I would say hold off and let's plan something big for PORC's 10 year anniversary in a few weeks. Possibly looking at March 6th.

If the signs y'all made are ready and we have the posts a few of us should meet a little early and work on getting those in the ground.

Well based on what I saw on the Trails today, with a good turnout, we should have no problem polishing things up, cooking a little lunch, and then riding. We still have dogs, chips, drinks, etc... from the Epic, we may need to but buns. Just need a way to cook.

I was waiting on it to dry out a little, the post are a little heavy, the signs can't be bolted on until the post are in the ground, and the tool to drive the post in the ground is a little on the heavy side. Once it dries a little I was just going to drive out on the Powerlines to put them in. Trust me, I am ready to get them up, they look good.

Thumbs up Labyrinth Reclaim Golden Spike

5 hours on the reclaim. It was a beautiful day for TM. Completed the remainder of the Labyrinth loop reclaim. Thought there would be a little more elation with the last tree to go down, but a few swigs from the Propel bottle, a few swigs off the Camelback and it was heading back out to the car. No fan fare just another day of TM. See everybody out there Saturday and Sunday!

That's awesome!! Does anyone want to celebrate with an out-and-back on the games loop tonight? Steve, as for the elation, just hide out in the woods and listen for the hoop and hollers of the bikers riding by. I can't wait to get out there this weekend and get everything completely clean.

thanks again Steve. what kind of beer do you drink?

with the bulk of the work done we will be able to do some really good polishing - should be a very good final product after this weekend.
