i think it's imperative that we ALL carry a bottle of fat tire ale for just such emergencies.

Thank you Eric for the update.
I am so glad to hear he is out of surgery. We are praying that the pain will be minimal and the recovery will be quick.

Default Good News

Get well, Sean, the comeback starts here.

Keep mending, and use the down time to stoke your motivation. I know that when I was off the bike for five months in various Navy training, it made the reunion that much more glorious.

Get some subscriptions to MTB mags, some videos/movies, and use the opportunity to plan or install some bike upgrades.

The form comes back quickly enough when there's desire in the tank, so don't worry about that.

Well, as Eric said, made it through surgery. What was supposed to be a hours surgery, turned into 3 1/2 hrs with the installation of 2 plates and assorted hardware. Got to see the x-rays as they put me under in the OR. What a mess. Now the recovery begins.

That's when you just crack a bone. I completely broke both and had some extra pieces in there floating around.

Auto correct spelling on the iPhone. What I am typing is probably pretty thought.
