They cut out the downed tree that the bridge spanned, then layed the bridge to the side a few feet in the woods. It's not the end of the world, but I put a lot of time into that bridge and kinda liked it. My 10 year old liked it too - which tells me it's not too technical (he was bummed when I told him it got axed).

I suspected ATVers cuz the trail is now very ATV friendly - - but there's no evidence that it was them (no tracks)....in fact, it was more likely MTBers since some clipping was also done on the trail too (atv'ers don't clip - they just bulldoze their way through ....

Ok. I'd like to see us possibly put up a sign "all trail maintenance to be done by PORC only"

SOmething to tell these people to quit screwing it around. Lets do some tying down of the things. I so hate trail manglers.

I got to thinking maybe along with the IMBA rules of the trail we could include a Note about leaving trail obstacles where they are and if they pose a problem to report them on here.

Looks like someone put one of the log crossings back on Czechers.

This is an issue everywhere I've ever lived.

Some asshole thinks because he can't ride it that its too hard and it must come out.

Hang one to warn the rest.

Default The PiggyBack Block Game on the Games Loop

If the person unblocking the short-circuit and using that wood to block PiggyBack is reading this...I ask that you please stop.

There's a reason for the block (but it is not permanent) and if it were not for the dozens of TM volunteers and me getting these trails opened back up, you would not have a trail to ride, block, or unblock ().

Members can have their 2cents by vote. The voting will be anonymous, but again only members can vote ( all 80 of ya ).

I've got a lot more I could say on this, but I'll give it a rest and see what happens. There's always a chance it is a hiker, but unlikely - I rarely see anyone other than bikes out there.

I could be wrong but I think the block is there to get more traffic on the newly opened trail to help settle it down faster. And if you're going to UNBLOCK something don't BLOCK another trail that's just stupid and it'll get you caned.

i think maybe a super technical block would be cool. like the teeter on carl's trail. few can ride it so they go around and it looks to good to tear down. do we still have that wildlife camera?
