Default 29er tire choice for the area?

right now i have a set of 29er WTB nano raptors and moto raptors...

of those 2 which would be more ideal for our areas trails?

when i get around to buying another set of tires any other tires i should look at?

figured you guys would know better then any other

I second that with the 8's I bought a pair from Mark last week. I since have ridden the at the U in the sand and they were fantastic, as well as today at Swayback in Mongomery and they were awesome there as well.. Cant go wrong

Just to update that thread, I love the Specialized Captain tires so far. I've ridden them here and Swayback and they seem to ride really well both places. The Captain also made the MTB Action mag "Top 10 29er Tire" in the most recent issue (,but so did the Nevegals and you see how much I liked them).

The other thing about tires that makes all the differance in the world is the right tire pressure for your riding conditions..

thanks guys... i'll go with the nano's for now ... after buying the monkey i have to wait a little while before i can get anything else... boss is watching the budget haha ;-)
