I think it's been cracked for a few months. It's been creaking, I thot it was the saddle. I'm glad it didn't break in half on those fast dh's. Yep, Titus is lifetime warranty. I am going to ask about an FTM as the replacement.

Pops,

I have seen this happen on several occasions. Take it to your dealer, or shop of choice, if a dealer does not have a shop. Explain the situation, what happened, (leaving out any racing or jumping), they should be more than wiling to work with you. If you have any problems, then please get intouch with me, I may be able to pull some strings, but no promises. Good Luck.

I was sorta thinkin that very thing. I gotta get another rim (700c) and spoke it up. I guess I'll be doing some road riding in the near future. Hopefully I can borrow something to ride for our upcoming road trips.

Default Titanium bikes

Unlike most aluminum, carbon, or steel frames that are scrapped if damaged. Titus will chop the broken tube out and reweld in a new one. I will still have my custom frame. It will just have a new downtube. Prolly new decals also. lol You have to be positive what you want when you buy a titanium bicycle. All the sizeing, features, etc. You're going to have it forever. My road bike has 40K miles in 10 years. The entire driveline has been replaced several times (same wheels, however). Started with 8 speed, now has 9 speed. I suppose 10 or 11 speed will be next. When/if it breaks, back to LiteSpeed for repairs it goes.
