My main bike is my Bianchi Sok 29er. XT group 26/36 front gearing with a 11-34 cassette. Next up is a nice set 36h wheels for it and a brooks saddle.

Well, I was a pretty staunch 29er HT SS rider... but now I'm riding this:

I still have a 29er SS, but who knows when I'm gonna ride it!?

I demo'ed the large anthem 29er on Thursday for about 4 miles before having to cut my ride short due to rain. Same day I enrolled into the layaway program so that I'll have one before the 12hr in march. My Bianchi Sok 29er has about the same wheelbase as the Anthem but slightly different geometry. Sok = 74 Seat tube & 70.5 head tube angles (5" head tube length) vs' Anthem seat tube 73 & 71 head tube (4.1" head tube length). The .5 degree in the head tube along with the shorter head tube on the Anthem definately makes the bike turn very quick. I'm quite sure that i could make adjustments on my SOK and get the steering quicker. I just doubt it could be as quick steering as the Anthem.

I have been running a 26/36 chainring set-up with a 11-34 cassette on the Bianchi. It fits my riding style perfect out at UWF. So on a single red loop time trial the gearing would make the SOK faster but anything beyond ten miles the comfort of the Anthem will take the gold hands down. If the Anthem had the exact gearing of the SOK... The SOK would never get ridden...

You who know me know my whip, Bianchi SOK 29er, dont need no stinking shifters, only got one gear. Juicy 7 and bonty race lights. She still has the stock fork on er and cranks, but thats about it. I love this bike. Outside of getting a custon ti, I will ride this bike until I break it or other wise cant ride anymore. I want the NEW gates carbon drive, but that will have to wait on my ti bike. Maybe in the near future. Ha, what am I thinking we opened the restaurant 2 days ago and I havent seen the light of day for a month except riding the BUS. Thanks to all who helped me get them here, Mark love the soft bag!!! Has anyone seen my lights?? I will need them as I have decided to be the morning guy and the bus doesnt run that early and no sunshine at 530 am. I need my lights please it will start snowing soon and all the help I can get will be greatly appreciated. The restaurant is getting great reviews so far in the soft opening!!! Sure need a day off!! next month hope fully. My brother is here and I have only seen him 2 times.

Nah, no problem, you can get them to my house when you can and give them to Loren. He will take them to mails a breeze and then they will ship them to my parents. I hope to get my rides put together next week and start riding them to work. I cant wait to break the niner out, I still havent seen one here so a big wheeled bike should raise some eyebrows. I will probably build it first 1x9 since I will be using it on the street
