Default scotland

Some shots from last month at Kirroughtree, one of the mtn bike parks in Scotland, the "7 Stanes" as they call them. All professionally designed, bikes only, seriously good trail.

I was cooked by the end of it. The "McMoab" section was like nothing I'd ever ridden, about a mile of exposed granite with arrows painted on it to tell you which way to go (or in my case, crash)

It's a WWI war memorial - kinda weird as it's out there in the middle of nowhere.

I'm certain there was a large battle fought at that location. Obelisks are usually built with location and purpose in mind.
