Default Youth Mountain Bike??

My son is turning 9 next month and I would like to get him a mountainbike. I'm looking for suggestions.. I think a 24" would be the way to go but there are not alot of options...

I found this but its a little hard to swallow spending 500.00 on a 24 inch bike.

This one's a little less expensive.

Scott the Standover height on the revel 2 xxs is the same as the giant xtc 24. We have both in stock , have him stand over the 26 and im sure it will be the way to go @ $380

Jake's got the black/blue, it's cool but the silver is good looking.

Went with the Giant XXS 26er from T.S. He loves it, we spent the afternoon trying to clear bricks, rocks and other misc. landscaping stuff I could find in my front yard. With such a small frame and sb8's the bike is pretty light for its price. Thanks for the suggestions guys.

I rode with them today. My 9 and 6 year old rode pate trail then all of the games side (took the bypass). We then played on the freeride stuff for about an hour. My 9 year old Mason broke in the new bike with some nice spills on the freeride stuff. They rode over 6 miles in all. My 6 year old was on a Giant BMX with about 15 lbs of pressure in the tires. All he said at the end was his butt hurt a little.

Much Thanks to the Guys that worked on the freeride stuff . Fun for all ages.
