Default Pensacola Downtown Skatepark

There is a group trying to fund a skatepark downtown Pensacola under the I-110 overpass.

Seems like a cool idea, then it got me thinking... since they are working on funding, would be neat if the park was built with some mtb features and sections. Would be a good way for them to generate some extra funds and also for the mtb community to get some benefit.

Would be nice to have an indoor mtb park but maybe some of the indoor mtb features can be applied to an outdoor skatepark.

Supposedly, there's enough room under the interstate for a lot more than just that skate park. It is something that I would love to see done. Check out the videos.

Exactly! There are tons of options.

Don't know if they have any other ideas for investors but the latest article says they only have $80k so far while shooting for $1.5m. Would be interesting if any of the mtb industry would sponsor like they do for the indoor mtb parks.
