Default IMBA Trail Building School

Pensacola Off Road Cyclists &
The International Mountain Bike Association
Presents:
The IMBA Trailbuilding School
(Open to all trail users, not just cyclists!)

December 6th at the
Blackwater Heritage Trail Visitorís Center
in Milton, Florida &
The Juniper Creek Primitive Area
in Blackwater River State Forest.

The Trail Care Crew will be teaching
IMBA's trailbuilding philosophies and
training local volunteers and land managers
on how to build sustainable singletrack in
the North Florida / South Alabama Area.

Class Includes:
*Sustainable trail design
*Basic construction
*Fostering volunteer clubs and partnerships

Schedule:
9:00am to noon ~ Trailbuilding School classroom session
at Blackwater Heritage Trail Visitorís Center
5533 Alabama St, Milton, FL

noon to 12:45pm ~ Lunch to be provided by Truly Spokin'

1:00pm to 4:00pm ~ Trailbuilding School field session at the
Juniper Creek Primitive Area in Blackwater River State Forest
Redrock Rd, Springhill, FL


Please let us know if you plan on attending.

Check back for updates and more weekend activities.

update: if you plan on attending the afternoon trail building session, please bring one or more of the following tools:
loppers
axe
rake
if you don't have any of these tools, don't worry, there will be extras.

i was going to send a notice to jackson guard. spreas the word

as far as tools go, loppers axes and rakes. some will be provided but everyone should bring what they have.

I think that the core group here has signed up. There are only 5 of us. I only emailed them as I am tired of emailing those who ride frequently and never offer to help. Someone else emailed the rest of the riders, so a miracle may happen and a few others may sign up.

If you want to send me a flier, I can post it at the TL trail heads.

WHAT we gotta work too? I thought we were gonna sit around and watch movies on how to build trails.. I didnt know a lab followed the lecture..
